The fifth part of population in Russia makes it aim simple survival, even at the most primitive level of existence. At that the quantity of such people increased for 5% for the last year - from 15% up to 20%. That are the results of the interrogation carried out by "Levada-Center" on August, 10-13th. Young educated inhabitants of the largest cities (first of all Moscow and St.-Petersburg) want to live better. Pensioners, population of small cities and villages - "survive". However, sharp growth of quantity of people who make it aim simple survival (from 15% up to 20% annually) happens for the first time for last seven years. At that sociologists specify the real figure of "simply surviving" should be even more - in interrogation domiciliary the whole categories of people, for example, homeless people and children, illegal migrants are not taken into consideration.

This time campaign "Successor" will follow absolutely different scheme, not like the one that it followed in 1999. Now the future president will head the pre-election list of "Edinaya Russia" (ЕR) and during promotion of the party in power the accent will be made on popularization of the leader of its list that is on "successor". The head of the list of ER, as "Arguments of the Week" has repeatedly written, S.Ivanov. It will be declared before the congress of ER on October, 2nd. That is in a month after resignation of the government. This month will be given to mass media to give a lot of comments having attracted everybody's attention to the congress of ER. Due to it ER will have 45% on the elections of December, 2, meanwhile put forward on the State Duma victory S.Ivanov in March, 2008 - will get not less than 55% already in the first round.

The political consciousness of the management of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, obviously, was conserved on conspirated in Komsomol youth "Brief Course of History of All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks". They accused Anatoly Baranov in a crime even more awful in their eyes than extremism - in Trotskyism. It's impossible to comment intellectual side of such a charge. Yes, there was inner-party struggle between Trotsky and Stalin in the 20th years of the last century. It ended, by the way, Trotsky's full rout and a full victory of its program on destruction of the Russian peasantry which was taken and realized with ruthless cruelty by Stalin. What relation it has to the problems of today?

In the weekly newspaper "Arguments of a Week" there is a material of A.Uglanoval which affirms that one of these days in the Kremlin the decision on expediency of creation of working group on making modification in the operating Constitution of the Russian Federation was accepted. Its aim - to carry out analysis what amendments of the Organic law became actual and what they can result in. The first vice-premier of the government Dmitry Medvedev will head working group. Projects of changes of the Constitution prepared should be brought in the State Duma to autumn session. It is not excluded that by the moment of their entering there will appear a reference of some governors to the deputies. They will suggest to distribute norm about increase of quantities of election terms of the president also on the prsent head of the state. It is underlined also that the working group is necessary not only for the study of "presidential" amendments. It is high time to bring in the Constitution, for example, names of new subjects of Federation
