The Scottish Socialist Party’s People Not Profit campaign will challenge the politics, the economics and the morality of free market ideology. The People Not Profit campaign is based around a simple ten-point programme, which includes opposition to war, low pay and privatisation - and support for free school meals, cheap public transport and an independent socialist republic.
On the 16th of April for the first time I visited starving people in Yasnogorsk. In four rooms 28 people lay on folding beds starving. The majority of them are women. 12 people are in a condition of hunger-strike for 26 days already!!! Their condition is catastrophic. …yellow faces and skin... sunken eyes... Visually three women are obviously sick, one of them had heart attack and an extensive inflammation of eyes, but she refuses to be hospitalized. All three cannot talk at all. They are in condition of living deadmen.
