It is difficult to say, whether Medvedev’s Manifest was planned to Obama’s election or it simply happened so. Likely, it was planned. Really the president prolonged his powers up to 6 years and for simplification of relations with parliament prolonged the deputy term up to 5 years. There are no doubts that today the offers stated in Medvedev’s message will be voted for by Duma. Actually the president declared that he was ready to share powers with Federal Assembly, having cut them down from executive authority, first of all from the government which he as a matter of fact subordinated to parliament.

The State Duma approved the budget for 2009-2011 in the third, final reading. It seems that situation in the world financial markets rendered no influence on the basic financial document of the country - Duma passed the budget for the next three years in which there’s no place to crisis. In the budget for 2009-2011 175 billion roubles of public funds are allocated for purchase of shares and bonds. Such increase in charges became actually the only attribute of crisis in the budget. I think that the time has come on the basis of the above-mentioned Councils to form in regions of the country Committees of Saving which will be ready in case of incapacity of authority to realize urgent anti-recessionary actions: distribution of the foodstuffs, employment of the unemployed, audit of banks, formation of anti-recessionary fund, etc. It is necessary for these Committees of Saving to enlist the services of smart oppositional economists as it would be necessary to take functions of the national Ministry of Finance and national Audit Chamber (control inspection) upon themselves. These Committees of Saving should now come into contact with militia and, whenever it’s possible, with military units, so that when it will be necessary, militiamen and militarians, the same way suffering from consequences of capitalist crisis, will be on duty of people. >>

The number of starving worldwide to the beginning of 2009 will exceed 1 billion people - it's about 1/6 of all population of the Earth. It's the consequence of a global food crisis. Global financial crisis can aggravate situation even more - consumer ability of the population will be reduced, prices for foodstuffs will be raised, the number of starving will increase. All this leads the world community far and far from the target declared before - to reduce the general level of poverty on the planet to the middle of 2015.

European Parliament Recognized the Soviet People As Executioner of the Ukrainians

European Parliament recognized Holodomor as a crime against humanity and expressed sympathy to the Ukrainian people. It's stated in resolution of European Parliament approved at yesterday's session in Strasbourg. The majority of deputies of European Parliament voted "pro". The resolution consists of two items. In the first item Holodomor is recognized as an awful crime against the Ukrainian people and mankind; such actions, in particular, against the Ukrainian peasantry which were accompanied by mass destructions of people and infringements of the rights and freedom are severely condemned; sympathy is expressed to the Ukrainian people which went through the tragedy of Holodomor and also the respect to those who died as a result of artificial famine of 1932-1933; there's also an appeal to the countries of the former USSR to open archives which had relation to Holodomor for carrying out of researches concerning organization of the tragedy.

Pre-term elections of the parliament, announced by the president Jushchenko in the decree on December, 7, will not take place. It was declared by the prime-minister Julia Timoshenko in a broadcast appeal to people. "Today I can ascertain: there will be no elections on December, 7", - she said.
Instead of elections J.Timoshenko suggested all fractions to be united in "coalition of protection against world financial crisis" and on its basis to reform the government. She invited all fractions already on October, 20 to begin consultations in the parliament.
The chapter of the Ukrainian government insists on urgent renewal of the work of the Supreme Rada for acceptance of urgent laws on counteraction to world financial crisis, including the law on the budget.

In the morning on October, 10th, 2008, Filatov «Fedjay» Feodor Vasilevich has died in hospital from plural knife wounds. He was only 27 years old. In 7:30 a.m. he came out from entrance of the house. He was attacked by four unknown persons, armed with knives. There is no doubt that these people planned this attack. As a result, having received numerous knives’s injuries, Feodor Filatov has been taken to hospital on the ambulance. >>

Federal State Statistics Service publishes material "About Estimation of Consumer Price Index from September, 23 to September, 29, 2008" prepared on the base of weekly registration of consumer prices of 50 major names of the goods and services which is carried out on Mondays in 265 cities of Russia. Federal State Statistics Service marks that fruit-and-vegetable production on average fell in price on 0,8%, including carrot and onion - on 2,0% and 1,9% accordingly. Thus the prices for cabbage grew on 0,3%. The prices for motor gasoline and diesel fuel decreased on 0,2%. According to prequalification consumer price index on the goods and services for September can make 100,8%. We - as consumers of "fruit-and-vegetable production", undoubtedly, should worry how during the season of the harvest of vegetables carrot and onion managed "to fall in price" on 2% as prices for them in the last months simply went off scale - let's say, carrot at the price of 30 roubles in the very season - it's too much.

As to the idea to sell them to the potential corrupt officials - you know, these people quite successfully make their business - empires without it. At the same time they are pathologically non-efficient: corruption and development of business - completely different functions. Therefore to release shares of enterprises created is necessary for involving of skilful, effective private businessmen and not effective corrupted officials: in fact the task is to develop them and not to steal. >>
