Surkov Is Appointed to End up the Russian Church

Deputy Prime Minister Vladislav Surkov will supervise fight against religious extremism in the country, newspaper “Kommersant” writes on Friday. Edition reminds that the official recently headed commission on religious organizations. Occupying this post, according to "Kommesrsant", he first of all will persuade the State Duma to pass the law entering responsibility “for insult of religious feelings of believers”.

One more task put before Surkov — “to level negative round the Russian Orthodox Church collected for the last months”, the edition writes quoting unnamed employee of the government.

Creation of orthodox "Nashi" already started yesterday - Council of the youth orthodox organizations of Moscow which unites about 40 structures initiated creation of the All-Russia association of youth orthodox organizations, the coordinator of the council and the deputy chairman of the Synod department on youth affairs Vadim Kvyatkovsky told. According to him, association should improve communications and coordination of the youth associations created on the base of the curacies and dioceses — about 300 such structures operate on the regional and federal levels all in all. Attraction of other organizations, not necessarily youth is possible, Kvyatkovsky doesn't exclude. Council directed its offers for get blessing from hierarchy — to the chairman of the Synod department on youth affairs, bishop Ignati Bronnitskov.

From editorial board: It happens that people commit suicides. Sometimes they do it collectively. Now we observe collective suicide of the Russian Orthodox Church as Christian church.

At first we saw appearance of "the orthodox teams" protecting temples – it’s interesting to know from whom? From strangers? Well, it is clear, someone will run, leave dirt... Jesus, meanwhile, wasn’t accompanied by security guards. He also communicated with publicans and fallen women – of course, it doesn’t behove modern fathers of church to behave in this manner. They prefer to deal with “clean” public - whether we can imagine a picture: Jesus on a guest night of Caesar? Or so: Pontius Pilate is entrusted to create teams from believers for protection of temples from fallen women and publicans?

Now - "religious extremism", moreover assigned to Surkov. Well, it is clear, he does what he is able to do. But "to level negative"?... Why not to charge Police Department the matter of spiritual education and to die down after it?

Yesterday I was on a record of the program devoted to "the orthodox security guards" in temples. A pier, it is necessary to protect shrines. The temples should be protected as soon as they are attacked. The same question without the answer – to protect from whom? From strangers? Jesus communicated with publicans and fallen women because his help was necessary first of all to them. While here the church simply gets fenced from "dirty" with the help of frames and face control.

People will simply cease to go to the church – if some one wants to go “to god" and to see strong-arm men at the entry? They will create "church for own people". They shouldn’t forget to hang the plate with inscription: "No unauthorized entry".

I reminded of self-defense - the church has been exposed to persecutions for 300 years, but there were no cries to gather Christian teams... At last they could have beat the Christ back - there were approximately two troops of the Roman soldiers in Jerusalem then or something like that. Idea, by the way, is rich: Judea of that time was zipped with the national-liberation movements as they are called now. Such leader - with the plate "Jesus Nazorey - the Judaic tasr" over the head. Stand up and go ahead!

At the mention of it the orthodox public cried: "Blasphemy! Blasphemy!" They didn’t let me speak up.

What gentle matter - feelings of believers - is. It’s possible to place Chapayev on tachanka, while to place there Jesus - blasphemy. Thus there’s nothing terrible that Jesus, according to the legend, enters Jerusalem without freaks, on a she-ass. Not on a chariot, let’s note, that was in those days equal to "Mercedes". Tachanka is other name of chariot, of a fighting vehicle. While they say - blasphemy...

It is clear that after introduction of surkov’s "law about blasphemers" it will become unsafe to talk about church affairs and believes as a whole.

What this church is – it’s unsafe even to enter it: orthodox combatants can beat and even to death for the "wrong" behavior. It’s also unsafe to talk about it – they can send into prison.
