Less than a half of the Russians estimates Vladimir Putin on a post of the president of the country positively, last poll carried out by "Levada-Center" showed. A number of those who expressed favorable opinion about the leader of the country appeared at so low level for the first time for several years - only 48%, while 25% expressed sharply against him. In May it was possible to say that 60% of respondents support Putin, while 21% declared their antipathies in his address.

Sociologists speak about catastrophic falling of trust - after all about 65% supported Putin during his two previous terms, thus the share of dissatisfied fluctuated in a range from 13 to 16%. Minimum quantity of sympathizing him (55%) was fixed in 2005 in the period of monetization of social benefits, newspaper Vedomosti reminds.

The poll of the fund “National Opinion” carried on August, 11-12 showed even worse position of Putin. Only 45% showed trust to the president. Other 27% reported that they partially trust the head of state and 23% declared mistrust to the national leader. However, if to follow dynamic on the base of polls of this sociological center, it is possible to find exactly same ratio (45% against 24%) in December, 2011 - in a peak of protest moods after parliamentary elections.

To the question of "Levada-Center" whether respondents trust Putin, 57% answered positively. Only 18% declared absolute trust. In January the trust to the president showed 63% (for comparison in 2008-2010 this figure made 76-84%). This question was answered negatively by 30% (in 2008-2010 - 12-16%).

56% of respondents told about their fatigue from inefficiency of actions of the president. 53% are sure that Putin's influence on the events in the country is very strong.

35,2% of respondents of "Levada-Center" declared that people trust Putin because "they don't see any other whom they could rely on". Only 15% of respondents are sure that compatriots trust the president as he "successfully copes with solution of problems of the country". 40,9% assumed that belief in the president is connected with hope in his future successes in solution of pressing problems.

Estimating data of last polls in conversation with "Independent Newspaper", experts noticed that results received testify to "a dangerous thinning" of so-called credibility of the acting president.

The director of "Levada-Center" Lev Gudkov expressed opinion that former level of trust of the Russians to Putin and the power won't return any more. Pre-election pumping of rating gave only short-term effect, the sociologist ascertained.

The number of unequivocally sympathizing to Putin fell from 47-49% of 2008 to present 22% not only because of economic crisis, the expert declared, making comments on other recent polls. In his opinion, the Russians have feeling of deadlock, lack of prospects, fatigue from the president and his command, sharp irritation with corruption.

The member of Public chamber and the supreme council of "United Russia" Dmitry Orlov in his turn doesn't consider falling of level of trust catastrophic. In his opinion, the number of sympathizing to Putin became less because of logical loss of former glorification and mythologization of his image in the course of time. Now he is perceived as competent, skilled manager and level of trust expressed is sufficient for the politician, Orlov is sure.

Political scientists speak about the third term as about Putin's mistake, while United Russia assures: simply all people are on holiday

According to the political scientist Dmitry Oreshkin stated by him to “Vedomosti”, last polls showed that it was big Putin’s mistake to go on the third term. He ceased to be "the president of hope" for all groups of the population as he used to be at the beginning of board, the expert noted.

One more poll of “Levada-Center” confirms this point of view, it was dedicated to representation of interests of different layers by the president. According to the majority of respondents, Putin after return to the Kremlin took the side of bureaucracy, large businessmen and security officers, having refused to support middle class and simple people, newspaper “Kommersant summed up at the beginning of August.

As it became clear, the number of those who is sure that Putin expresses interests of security officers grew from 31% to 41% in a year. The number of the Russians considering that the president expresses interests of officials and bureaucracy reached record level (now it’s 32%, in January of 2011 it was 24%). Only 21% of respondents declared that Putin expresses interests of middle class (a year before - 26 %). Only 14% consider that the president reflects interests of workers and employees (in 2011 - 20%).

The deputy director of "Levada-Center" Alexey Grazhdankin having analyzed data of this poll declared to the newspaper that people vote for Putin thanks to loud promises as well as due to the fact that "a person isn't very rational and the most part of the population is very trustful".

"United Russia" is sure that polls carried out in summer don't reflect true state of things. According to the deputy secretary general of United Russia’s Supreme Council Andrey Isayev, falling of ratings of heads of the country is connected with the fact that considerable part of people is on holidays and those who stayed at work "got angered".

- If semi-official sociological services show decrease in rating of "national love" for whom ostensibly voted 65 percent of voters, than real rating, I believe, is in general the lowest of the low, - editor-in-chief of FORUM.msk Anatoly Baranov considers. - We will carry out own poll, on unbiased evaluation, and see.
