Why Do White-Blue-Red Leaders Buy Foreign Arms?

Why Do White-Blue-Red Leaders Buy Foreign Arms?
Кalashnikov Maxim 12.05.2011

Real orgy of purchase of foreign arms and military technology began in the Russian Federation. Trillions roubles threaten to leave a pocket of our tax bearer to support overseas military-industrial complex.

What for it's done? Whether tomorrow we start war with NATO? Apparently, the reason is much more banal: chiefs want not to work but heat hands on the state orders.

It needs to be stopped.

Armor for APC and combat car from Germany, armoured cars "IVECO" from Italy, plans to buy one thousand armored cars "Panar" for internal troops, pilotless devices from Israel, helicopter carriers from France, submarines from Germany - the list of plans of weapon import to the Russian Federation replenishes month after month. Notorious general Popovki on the eve of leaving in Russian Space Department made inquiries about purchase of foreign artillery systems.

It is already conscious policy. A tendency. It's result - destruction of domestic military-industrial complex (the most hi-tech part of the Russian industry) and transformation of the Russian Federation into typical raw "banana" republic. We sell hydrocarbons - buy all the rest abroad. Also the weapon. Real threat of total destruction is ahead of the Russian military-industrial complex.

The generals of the Russian Federation have lost any shame. Sometimes they plan to buy frankly second-hand things. But - foreign. Recently there was a scandal: the commander-in-chief of the Navy of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vysotsky declared intention to buy foreign artillery systems for our ships: Italian 127-mm OTO-MELARA (the sample of 1968) and French "Creusot - Loire Compact" (1953/1968). At that adopting of foreign "second-hand artillery" (which is much worse than domestic 130-mm complex А-192М "Armat" being in the process of development) for service will demand extremely expensive revision of the Russian ship projects.

Frank schizophrenia is being observed. On the one hand, "Rosoboronexport" reports about growing deliveries of our weapon to the world market. On the other - military men curse domestic military - industrial complex that it fails to produce anything modern observing quality and price parameters. If so, let's pass to import.

Thus orders of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation for new technique are scanty. For example, we need to buy not less than 250 new planes annually. While we buy just few pieces. Basically large parties of our fighters go abroad in the countries which military budget is much less than ours. Therefore few copies delivered to our armies appear literally gold. Scale effect is observed.

While our generals/admirals of the Ministry of Defense don't intend to stint on purchase of foreign arms.

There's such impression that we need to arm feverishly. That is we are on the verge of war - big war with strong opponent a la NATO, at least - with Turkey or China. Not with paramilitary groups as in the Chechen Republic. Otherwise what for do we need ship artillery installations, helicopter carriers "Mistral" or German submarines with electrochemical impellent installations in war with small gangs of terrorists? After all there are mountains there - armoured cars "Panar" won't be useful. Helicopters and fighting, scout-attack pilotless vehicles will be necessary there.

We know that there will be no big war tomorrow. Neither NATO, nor Turkey, nor China will risk to attack, for the present Russian Federation have nuclear weapon and rocket park (strategic carrier means). Consequently we have time for rearranging and making order in our military-industrial complex. Having bought for it necessary equipment (that is cheaper, than purchase of ready import weapon), having prepared personnel, having debugged mechanism of performance of the defensive order, having worked out new samples of arms.

However it's being done vise versa. There's such impression that management of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation hurries up to waste budgetary trillions for import. May be so that somebody will receive "thanks" from the western contractors into offshore accounts? After all they are already experienced in it.

The roots of present import orgy are necessary to search in laziness, incompetence and in general in psychology of the "post-Soviet elite".

Throughout all these years it has been destroying the most hi-tech of our industries - defensive one. Now after uncountable reorganizations, cutting offs, kickbacks and scandals we have dying out sphere with destroyed links of industrial chains - broken up to separate enclaves. Our unfortunate reformers understood that they are incapable to operate military-industrial complex, that defensive orders and perspective programs are hard nut to crack. That they can't prevent disintegration of "military-industrial complex". They found the way out: to buy weapon abroad. It is easier. It is not necessary to work in this case, it is not necessary to take responsibility for anything.

Scenes of ruin of military-industrial complex and certificates of scandalous laziness (half-and-half with incompetence) of the first persons of the Russian Federation can be found in Yury Solomonov's book (ex-director of Moscow Missile Producing Institute of Thermal Technology) "Nuclear Vertical". There he described how they nearly destroyed "Topol-M" and derailed the project "Bulava".

Some of our sources say that "Rostechnologii" dragging defensive factories send there such "effective managers" that after their work enterprises suffer ... h'm... successes. There's no qualified staff. Nobody searched for it or didn't prepare. The Russian Federation begins import of arms...

Purchase of necessary to nobody "can" (the French helicopter carrier "Mistral", at that without major systems) is destruction of domestic ship-building programs. Future purchase of submarines of the project 212 from Germany - is the same kettle of fish. We bought Israeli far-back pilotless vehicles: development of domestic UAV will be simply strangled. At that they are - I have serious proofs - much more modern, than Israeli ones. I think there's no need to tell you what will come of it. One can already hear the sound of metal cutting into the tree.

Wait a moment: soon it will appear that it is necessary to buy warplanes and helicopters also abroad. Small arms: as for the years of post-Soviet shame there were serious problems with loss of production technologies of qualitative barrels. Then it would become necessary to buy foreign guns. Few remaining grandfathers-experts from concern "Almaz-Antey" will die - here you are - it's already necessary to import air defense weapon systems.

All this - in the spirit of new Russian "reformers". Say, what of it? We buy import cars instead of "Volga", foreign air liners, even football trainers. Why not to buy weapon as well?

Thus, finishing of military-industrial complex off becomes state policy. Destruction of the human capital of the Russian Federation, liquidation of free school education, etc goes in parallel. After that you will shout: "Russia, forward!"?

No, this orgy needs to be stopped by strong-willed method! To stop - and, at last, to think over how to live further...
