Putin Invited Football Fans to Join "His Bourgeois Gang"

The Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin ten days after disorders in the center of Moscow met football fans, declared easing of immunity to nationalism and xenophobia, warned fans against penetration into their numbers of "radicals of different colors" and offered cooperation with power. The prime minister went to the Lublin cemetery where the fan of "Spartak" Egor Sviridov was buried.

The prime minister came to the hall when the meeting of the head of department Vitaly Mutko with leaders of associations of fans was already in process. Having occupied place near to the minister Putin told that he learned about preparing meeting the day before and decided to take part in it to talk about problems which arose recently. Just like this - unexpectedly and in a simple way - simply went by...

The prime minister expressed anxiety that recently "various destructive elements try to get in on the act and even to put under their control" fan-movement.

"As a matter of fact I am talking about radicals of different colors. They do it not for sports, not for fan-movement development - they do it exclusively in their narrow, selfish, political aims to weaken the country, to shake it. Then in these conditions they would cry full blast that only they can rescue great Russia. If we admit it - it will be catastrophe".

Having arrived to the cemetery and leaving bus, the prime minister took a bouquet of red roses and together with leaders of fan-clubs went to a tomb where Sviridov was buried. He silently put flowers and stood several minutes there while fans put their flowers.

Leaving cemetery, Putin said goodbye to representatives of fan-clubs and addressed them with the request to follow agreements reached during the meeting as much as possible.

Head of the All-Russian association of fans Alexander Shprygin told new agency RIA Novosti that fans would be engaged in the work of organizing committee on preparation of the World Cup of 2018 and would take part in preparation of strategy of "Sport-2020". Representatives of fans "most likely, will appear in Public chamber", he said.

Once, in old Soviet period popularity of "Spartak" consisted in the fact that the club didn't belong to any ministry or department - the trainings took place even on the stadium of meat-packing plant, it even received nickname "meat" - nickname is not insulting, if to know its origin. It was unique free from state guardianship, national club. Everything's changed now - "Spartak" was given to "Aeroflot" already during Soviet period. Now "Spartak" - joint-stock company, apparently, supervised by LUKOIL and its affiliated structures. Well, who would give such actives away?

"Who in general suddenly decided that the action on Manezh Square had antigovernmental character? - Anatoly Baranov continued. - It seems to me, all - from Limonov to Kvachkov - somehow got it on without reason. There was nothing antigovernmental and even social there - whence do children who don't work take social motives?
